The practice of Sun Salutations (Surya Namaskaras) honors the change of seasons and the transitions of nature’s sun and earth energy. These Surya Namaskaras also help remove toxins in the body as spring arrives and we cleanse. Surya namaskar means “obeisance to the sun” . We honor the significance of the sun, the light of the world and our primary source of energy.
